What is the difference between pneumatic joints and hydraulic joints?

The difference between pneumatic joints and hydraulic joints:
1. The application scenarios are different: pneumatic joints are used in low-pressure situations, while hydraulic joints are used in high-pressure situations.
2. There is a significant difference in the connection thread methods between the two. Pneumatic joints generally have PT threads, NPT threads, and G threads, while hydraulic joints have a wide range of threaded joints, including metric threads, imperial threads, and American threads.
3. In terms of material, pneumatic joints are mostly made of plastic, while hydraulic joints are mostly made of carbon steel and stainless steel, and the wall thickness and quality of the joints are higher than those of pneumatic joints.
4. The price difference between the two is significant, with hydraulic being much more expensive than pneumatic.
